Millora-Brown begins new Japan chapter with Nagoya Diamond Dolphins

Quentin Millora-Brown is staying in Japan — but he is bringing his hard-nosed style to a new home.

The Filipino-American center has signed with the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins for the 2026-27 B.League season, giving the club a defensive-minded big man as it enters the new B.League Premier era.

After spending the previous season with the Chiba Jets, the former University of the Philippines standout is eager for a fresh opportunity with Nagoya and a chance to help build on the club’s tradition.

"I’m incredibly excited to join the Dolphins and become part of this organization," said Millora-Brown.

“With the start of the new B.League Premier era, I’m looking forward to fighting alongside my teammates and all of you to protect the legacy this club has built and add to it.”

Millora-Brown played 19 games for Chiba during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 3.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game.

The Jets reached the semifinals before being eliminated by eventual champion Nagasaki Velca, while Nagoya also saw its season end in the same round after a loss to Ryukyu.

Now, the Diamond Dolphins are hoping Millora-Brown can help strengthen their interior defense.

Standing at 6-foot-10, Millora-Brown brings size, toughness, and defensive versatility to a Nagoya frontcourt looking for more stability. Beyond the numbers, the big man has built his reputation on the effort plays — setting hard screens, battling defensively, and doing whatever helps the team win.

Those qualities are exactly what Millora-Brown hopes to bring to his new club.

"I play hard every time I step on the court. My goal is to become the kind of player that opponents hate to play against, but teammates love to play with.
