Arıt Kayadibi secured a convincing 3-0 away victory over Sinopspor in the TUR Kupası on 16 September 2026, ending the hosts' cup run with a clinical second-half display. After a tight opening period, the visitors raised their level after the interval and pulled clear with three goals that reflected their superiority in the final third.

Match Overview

The first half was a cagey, physical affair. Sinopspor defended in numbers, sat deep in a compact block and looked to spring counter-attacks through their quickest players. Arıt Kayadibi saw plenty of the ball but found the final pass difficult to locate, and the opening forty-five minutes ended goalless — a scoreline that flattered the home side but also reflected their discipline.

Everything changed after the break. Arıt Kayadibi increased their tempo, pushed their full-backs higher and began to attack with real numbers. Once the first goal went in, Sinopspor's resistance crumbled quickly, and the visitors added two more to turn a tense tie into a comfortable win.

Key Moments

• First-half resistance: Sinopspor's goalkeeper made two smart saves to keep the game level at the interval.
• The breakthrough: Early in the second half, a deflected effort from the edge of the box found the net and broke the deadlock.
• Quickfire second: Within minutes, a counter-attack culminated in a calm finish from inside the area.
• Third goal: A late set piece was headed in at the far post to complete the scoring.

Tactical Story

Sinopspor's plan was clear and, for a while, effective: defend narrow, concede possession in safe areas, and use two fast forwards to attack the space behind. It worked until fatigue and the need to chase the game forced them to open up. Once they did, Arıt Kayadibi's numerical advantage in midfield became decisive.

The visitors' own tactical adjustment at half-time was crucial. By moving their widest players inside and asking the full-backs to provide the width, they created two-on-one situations against Sinopspor's full-backs and delivered a steady stream of crosses into the box. The second and third goals both came from exactly those patterns.

Standout Performers

Arıt Kayadibi's central midfielder was the heartbeat of the performance, covering ground relentlessly and driving his team forward after half-time. The striker's movement created space for others even before the goals arrived, and the goalkeeper made one important save at 1-0 to keep the momentum with his side.

Sinopspor's goalkeeper was their standout despite conceding three, producing a series of saves that kept the scoreline respectable. The captain in central defence led by example, blocking shots and organising a back line that was under near-constant pressure in the second half.

What It Means

The 0-3 win sends Arıt Kayadibi into the next round with a strong result behind them and evidence that they can break down stubborn opponents. The ability to stay patient through a frustrating first half and then strike decisively is a valuable trait in knockout football.

Sinopspor exit the TUR Kupası at the first hurdle, but the first-half display showed organisation and commitment. On this evidence, they will remain a tough opponent on home soil in league competition — just not on a night when their visitors found their shooting boots after the break.
