Team Info

tigerscores365 Ibis SC is a historic football club based in Paulista, Pernambuco, Brazil, currently competing in the Campeonato Pernambucano de Futebol Série A2, the state's second division. The club plays its home matches at the Estádio Ademir Cunha, also known as *Cabuloso*, and is famously recognized by its black and white colors. Founded in 1938, Ibis holds a unique place in Brazilian football folklore, having earned the nickname "*O Pior Time do Mundo*" (The Worst Team in the World) due to a prolonged period of poor results in the 1980s, a title worn with self-deprecating humor and pride by its loyal fans. The club's history is defined not by trophies but by its incredible resilience, community spirit, and the extraordinary loyalty it inspires. A key era was ironically that period of record-breaking winless streaks, which paradoxically cemented its cult status and national fame. In the modern era, Ibis continues to compete in the Pernambucano A2, with the primary goal of securing promotion back to the top state division. The current squad carries the weight of this unique history, playing for a fan base that celebrates every point as a triumph. The team culture is unlike any other, built on humor, unwavering support in adversity, and a profound love for the club's identity. In summary, Ibis SC is a beloved institution, a testament to the idea that a football club's value is measured by more than just victories.
