Bizkerre Women 2-3 Real Aviles CF Women: Five-Goal Thriller Ends in Away Win

Real Aviles CF Women claimed a dramatic 3-2 victory over Bizkerre Women in the Spanish Primera Federación on Saturday, 26 September 2026. The match produced five goals, momentum swings, and a late winner that underlined Real Aviles' attacking quality in what is proving to be a fiercely competitive season.

Bizkerre Women started with energy and took the game to their opponents. Their early pressing created chances, and they opened the scoring with a well-worked move. Real Aviles responded calmly, equalizing before half-time and setting up a second half that swung both ways.

Match Overview

The first half was fast and open. Bizkerre's midfield pressed high, while Real Aviles looked to play through the lines and attack the space behind the defense. After Bizkerre took the lead, Aviles grew into the game and found an equalizer that changed the mood of the contest. The visitors continued to probe after the break, and when Bizkerre retook the lead, the game seemed to be slipping away from Aviles. Instead, they produced a stirring comeback.

Key Moments

• Bizkerre opener: A quick combination down the right ended with a low finish to give the hosts an early advantage.
• Aviles equalizer: The visitors levelled before the interval with a precise strike from the edge of the box.
• Bizkerre second goal: The hosts restored their lead after the break, finishing off a spell of pressure.
• Aviles late double: Two goals in the final quarter of the match completed the turnaround and sealed all three points.

Tactical Story

Bizkerre Women were aggressive in their press and tried to win the ball high, but that approach left gaps once Real Aviles CF Women found their passing rhythm. Aviles used width effectively and attacked with numbers, especially in the second half. The decisive tactical shift came when Aviles pushed their full-backs higher and overloaded the flanks. Bizkerre struggled to clear their lines under sustained pressure, and the late goals were the logical result.

Standout Players

Real Aviles' forward line was the difference. The player who scored the equalizer and the substitute who netted the winner both had a major impact. Bizkerre's captain led by example in midfield and scored one of her team's goals, while their goalkeeper kept the score respectable with several saves. For Aviles, the composure shown in the final minutes was the mark of a side capable of challenging near the top of the Primera Federación table.

Table Impact

This 3-2 win gives Real Aviles CF Women a significant boost in the standings and reinforces their reputation as one of the division's most dangerous attacking teams. Bizkerre Women, meanwhile, will be frustrated to have taken the lead twice and come away with nothing. The result leaves them needing to tighten up defensively as they look to climb the Primera Federación table in the coming weeks.
