The Primera Federación, known for sponsorship reasons as the Primera Federación EA Sports, is the third tier of the Spanish football league system and one of the most competitive leagues in Europe. It serves as the crucial bridge between the fully professional Segunda División (LaLiga Hypermotion) and the semi-professional Segunda Federación. For clubs, it represents the final, grueling hurdle to reach the professional echelons of Spanish football.

The league is divided into two groups of 20 teams each, largely organized along geographical lines (Group I and Group II) to reduce travel.
