RSV Eintracht 1-2 SV Tasmania Berlin: Tasmania Complete Away Comeback

SV Tasmania Berlin came from behind to beat RSV Eintracht 2-1 in the German Regionalliga on Saturday, October 24, 2026, turning an early deficit into a valuable away victory. Tasmania grew stronger as the match progressed and found the winning goal in the second half after a determined response to Eintracht’s bright start.

The result was a testament to Tasmania’s resilience and tactical discipline. RSV Eintracht began well and took the lead, but they could not maintain the same level of control after the break. Tasmania pressed higher, moved the ball more quickly and eventually found the decisive moment.

Match overview

RSV Eintracht made the better start and were rewarded for their early pressure. They pressed Tasmania’s defence, forced a couple of corners and opened the scoring with a well-placed effort from the edge of the box. The home crowd responded, and for a period it looked as though Eintracht might take control of the contest.

Tasmania, however, stayed calm. They gradually settled into the match, tightened their midfield shape and began to win more second balls. The equaliser arrived just before half-time, giving the visitors a psychological boost and changing the tone of the team talks at the interval.

In the second half, Tasmania were the more aggressive side. They pushed their full-backs higher, pressed Eintracht’s ball carriers and created several half-chances before finally scoring the winner. Eintracht pushed for a late equaliser, but Tasmania defended their box well and held on for the three points.

Key moments

• 18th minute: RSV Eintracht take the lead with a composed finish from the edge of the penalty area.
• 44th minute: Tasmania Berlin equalise before half-time, finishing a flowing move with a close-range strike.
• 58th minute: Tasmania force a strong save from the Eintracht goalkeeper as they begin to dominate territory.
• 76th minute: Tasmania score the winner, converting a cross from the right with a header inside the six-yard box.
• 89th minute: Eintracht send a late ball into the box, but Tasmania’s defence clears the danger.

Tactical story

Tasmania’s second-half adjustment was key. In the first period, they allowed Eintracht too much space in midfield and struggled to close down crosses. After the break, they pressed with more coordination, forcing Eintracht into rushed passes and mistakes. That increased pressure led to more possession in dangerous areas and, eventually, the winning goal.

Eintracht’s early goal gave them confidence, but they became more cautious as the game wore on. Their midfield dropped deeper, and the gap between the forwards and the rest of the team grew. That allowed Tasmania to build attacks patiently and sustain pressure around the penalty area.

Standout performers

Tasmania’s midfield was central to the comeback. Their energy and willingness to press set the tone, while the wide players provided constant outlets. The goalscorer who netted the equaliser deserves credit for a composed finish, and the winner came from a well-timed run into the box.

For RSV Eintracht, the goalkeeper made important saves to keep the game level for long spells, and the defence produced several last-ditch clearances. But the home side could not find a second goal, and their late pressure was not enough to rescue a point.

Table impact

The 1-2 win gives SV Tasmania Berlin an important away result in the German Regionalliga, boosting confidence and adding momentum to their campaign. Coming from behind away from home is especially valuable, as it shows the squad’s character and tactical flexibility.

RSV Eintracht will be disappointed to lose after taking the lead. The match highlighted the importance of maintaining intensity for the full 90 minutes; against a side as persistent as Tasmania, a one-goal advantage was always vulnerable. Eintracht must now regroup quickly and find a response in their next fixture.
