The Regionalliga is the fourth tier of the German football league system, serving as the highest level of semi-professional play and the primary feeder league to the fully professional 3. Liga. It is divided into five regional divisions—Nord, Nordost, West, Südwest, and Bayern—making it a competition deeply rooted in local identity and rivalries, where the dream of national professional football begins for countless clubs.

Regional Structure and Promotion Playoffs
