Kama delivered a clinical away performance to sweep Energostroy Moscow 3-0 in the Vysshaya Liga A on October 24, 2026. The visitors won 25-20, 25-22, 18-25, controlling the key moments and capitalizing on Energostroy’s attacking errors throughout the contest.

Match Overview

Kama set the tone early, winning the first set 25-20 with disciplined serving and a compact block. Energostroy Moscow improved in the second set and traded points deep into the frame, but Kama found another gear late to take it 25-22. The third set was one-way traffic: Kama jumped to an early lead, never allowed the hosts to build momentum, and closed out the match 25-18.

Key Moments

• First set, 15-14 Kama: The visitors won five of the next six points to create a gap and take the opener.
• Second set, 20-20: Kama’s outside hitter produced two consecutive kills to swing the set.
• Third set, 9-4 Kama: An early run, powered by three service points, effectively ended Energostroy’s resistance.
• Match point: A sharp angle attack from the right side sealed the straight-set win.

Tactical Story

Kama’s serving was the foundation of their victory. By keeping Energostroy’s reception under pressure and forcing the home setter to use more predictable options, Kama’s block was able to load up on the wings. Energostroy struggled to find rhythm in transition and committed too many unforced errors at critical moments. Kama’s defensive coverage was also excellent, with their libero repeatedly extending rallies and allowing the offense to counter.

Standout Performers

Kama’s opposite hitter was the standout attacker, scoring consistently from the right side and delivering in the tight moments of the second set. Their setter managed the game intelligently, mixing tempos and keeping Energostroy’s block off balance. For Energostroy, the middle blocker showed fight with a few important stops, but the team could not sustain pressure across three sets.

Season Impact

This straight-set road win is a major boost for Kama in the Vysshaya Liga A standings, demonstrating their ability to close out matches efficiently. Energostroy Moscow remain with work to do, particularly in serve reception and error control, as they look to bounce back in their next outing.
