Trentino Women Dominate Offanengo Women in Straight-Sets Serie A2 Women Win

Trentino Women delivered a clinical road performance on Sunday, October 4, 2026, sweeping Offanengo Women 3-0 in Serie A2 Women. The set scores were 20-25, 18-25, 22-25 in favor of the visitors, giving Trentino three important standings points.

Played late Sunday evening, the match was defined by Trentino’s control from the service line and their ability to stay composed during Offanengo’s best moments. Offanengo showed flashes of resistance, especially in the third set, but could not disrupt Trentino’s rhythm for long enough to change the outcome.

Match Overview

Trentino started the match with clear intent, serving aggressively and forcing Offanengo into difficult first contacts. The visitors built an early lead in the opening set and maintained a steady gap, taking it 25-20. Offanengo’s attack had moments of quality, but Trentino’s block-and-defense system kept the pressure on.

The second set followed a similar pattern. Trentino’s setter distributed the ball effectively, keeping the middle attackers involved and opening space for the wings. Offanengo struggled to string together consecutive points, and Trentino pulled away to win 25-18.

Offanengo produced their best volleyball in the third set, trading points early and keeping the score close into the teens. But Trentino raised their level in the closing stages, winning the key rallies and sealing the sweep 25-22.

Key Moments

• First set: Trentino took control at 14-10 and closed the set 25-20.
• Second set: A 5-0 run midway through the set broke Offanengo’s resistance, leading to a 25-18 Trentino win.
• Third set: Offanengo stayed close at 18-18 before Trentino won four of the next five points to pull away.
• Match point: Trentino’s outside hitter finished a clean transition swing to complete the 3-0 victory.

Tactical Story

Trentino’s serve was the foundation of the win. By targeting Offanengo’s passing seams, they limited the home side’s ability to run a balanced offense. That allowed Trentino’s block to commit earlier and create opportunities in transition.

Offanengo tried to respond with higher, safer serves and more patient attacking, but Trentino’s backcourt defense was consistently well positioned. When Offanengo did force a broken play, Trentino often answered with a composed sideout or a well-timed block.

Standout Players

Trentino’s opposite hitter was a reliable scoring option throughout, especially in the tight moments of the third set. Their middle blockers also made a significant impact, combining for several blocks and forcing Offanengo to alter their attacking approach. The libero delivered a steady performance in reception and defense.

For Offanengo Women, the setter and outside hitters showed determination, particularly during the third-set surge. But the team needed more production from the middle and more consistency from the service line to challenge Trentino’s control.

What It Means for the Serie A2 Women Table

With the 3-0 win, Trentino Women collect three points in the Serie A2 Women standings, while Offanengo Women finish the match with zero. The straight-sets result boosts Trentino’s momentum and gives them a strong road reference point for the rest of the campaign.

For Offanengo, the challenge now is to regroup quickly, improve first-ball sideout and find ways to generate pressure against top-tier opposition. In a competitive Serie A2 Women season, every home match matters, and this one will serve as a learning opportunity.
