Imoco Volley Conegliano Women vs Vallefoglia Women: Conegliano Cruise to 3-0 Win

Imoco Volley Conegliano Women produced a commanding performance in Serie A1 Women, defeating Vallefoglia Women 3-0 on 29 October 2026. The set scores — 25-17, 25-20, 25-16 — highlighted Conegliano’s control from the opening serve to the final point.

The win adds another strong result to Conegliano’s Serie A1 Women campaign and reinforces their status as one of the league’s leading title contenders. Vallefoglia competed with energy, but could not disrupt Conegliano’s rhythm for long enough to threaten the result.

Match Overview

Conegliano started quickly, using aggressive serving and a well-drilled block to put Vallefoglia under immediate pressure. The home side’s first-set lead was built on efficient side-out volleyball and a low error count, and Vallefoglia struggled to find consistent answers.

The second set was more competitive. Vallefoglia improved their reception and found some success through the pins, but Conegliano’s attacking depth allowed them to pull away in the middle stage. The third set saw Conegliano reassert full control, closing the match with a dominant finish.

Key Moments

• First set, 12-8 Conegliano: The home side created early separation with a serving run and a strong block on the right side.
• Second set, 17-17: Vallefoglia stayed close, but Conegliano answered with a decisive run behind powerful attacking and disciplined defense.
• Third set, 11-5 Conegliano: The home side removed any doubt with an early lead and maintained control through the closing points.

Tactical Story

Conegliano’s serving strategy was effective throughout the match. By targeting Vallefoglia’s reception lines, the home side limited the visitors’ ability to involve the middle and forced more predictable attacks toward the pins. That allowed Conegliano’s block to set up early and control the net.

Vallefoglia’s best spell came in the second set, when their setter found better connections with the outside hitters and the team extended rallies. However, Conegliano’s transition game remained sharper. The home side’s ability to turn defense into attack quickly was the defining difference across all three sets.

Standout Performers

Conegliano’s opposite hitter led the scoring effort with a strong all-around display, while the middle blockers controlled the net and gave the setter reliable options through the center. The libero also played a key role, keeping difficult serves and attacks alive with composed defense.

For Vallefoglia Women, the setter and outside hitters showed glimpses of quality, especially in the second set. The team’s energy never dropped, but they needed more serving pressure and a tighter block to slow down Conegliano’s attacking flow.

League Impact

The 3-0 victory strengthens Imoco Volley Conegliano Women’s position in the Serie A1 Women standings and adds another clean sweep to their season record. In a league where the top sides are separated by fine margins, straight-set wins are valuable for both confidence and set differential.

Vallefoglia Women will take some encouragement from their second-set resistance, but the match underlined the gap between the two sides on this occasion. Improving reception consistency and finding more terminal attacks will be key if they are to challenge the league’s elite teams in future fixtures.
