• Set 1: Farm Fresh 25-22
• Set 2: Choco Mucho 25-23
• Set 3: Farm Fresh 25-20
• Set 4: Choco Mucho 25-22
• Set 5: Farm Fresh 15-13

The scoreline shows how little separated the teams. Farm Fresh had the better of the longer attacking rallies, while Choco Mucho’s blocking and floor defence kept them in the contest.

Key moments

The fifth set was the obvious flashpoint. Level at 13-13, Farm Fresh produced a crucial block to move to match point, then sealed the win with a smart attack into space. Before that, Choco Mucho had saved momentum with a strong finish to the fourth set, forcing the decider.

In the third set, Farm Fresh’s serving run created the first real gap of the match. Choco Mucho responded well in the fourth, but the Foxies’ composure in the final set proved decisive.

Tactical story

Both teams served aggressively, looking to break the other’s first-ball rhythm. Farm Fresh’s edge came in transition: their defence absorbed pressure and their setter found good matchups at the pins. Choco Mucho, meanwhile, leaned on their block and used the middle attack to keep Farm Fresh guessing.

The difference in the closing stages was error management. Farm Fresh limited unforced mistakes in the fifth set and forced Choco Mucho to play extra rallies. In a match of fine margins, that discipline was enough.

Standout performers

Farm Fresh’s opposite spiker delivered key points in the fourth and fifth sets, while their libero made several important defensive plays that extended rallies. The Foxies’ middle blockers also contributed crucial blocks at the net.

For Choco Mucho, the outside hitters carried much of the scoring load and kept the team alive with aggressive swings. Their setter distributed well under pressure, but the Flying Titans could not quite find the final point they needed in the decider.

What the result means

This PVL win gives Farm Fresh Foxies Women an important confidence boost and valuable momentum in the standings. Winning a five-set match against a strong Choco Mucho side is the kind of result that can shape a campaign.

Choco Mucho will take encouragement from their fightback, but the loss highlights the need for sharper execution in tight sets. The Premier Volleyball League table remains tight, and both teams will know that every five-setter could matter later in the season.
