Key Moments

• Second-set shift: Rehovot raised their serving intensity and leveled the match.
• Third-set block: The visitors took control with a decisive blocking run midway through the set.

Tactical Story

Rehovot's comeback was built on serve and defense. After a first set in which Aylabon controlled the tempo, the visitors began serving more aggressively and covering the court better behind their block. That combination forced Aylabon into predictable attacks and limited their ability to use the middle. Rehovot's setter also deserves credit for changing the attacking rhythm, mixing quick sets with back-row attacks to keep the home block honest.

Standout Performers and Season Impact

Rehovot's outside hitter was the standout performer, carrying the attack through the middle sets and delivering in transition. The visiting middle blocker also made a significant impact at the net, especially during the third-set run that swung the match. The 3-1 victory strengthens Hapoel Sva Rehovot's position in the Premier League standings and gives them momentum on the road. Aylabon will rue a missed opportunity after a strong start but can take heart from their first-set performance.
