Tactical story

Standout performers

Jona’s opposite hitter delivered several key points in the closing sets, while their libero made important defensive contributions in the tie-break. Chenois’ setter kept the attack varied and their middle blockers caused problems at times, but the home side could not quite close out the crucial moments in the final set.

For Chenois, the defeat is a frustrating one after taking the lead twice, and it highlights the importance of execution in the closing stages.
