Tactical story

When the home side did manage a clean reception, Melikgazi’s block was well-positioned to slow the attack and force recycled balls.

Sanliurfa’s best period came in the third set, when their middle attack began to function and their serving improved. But the home side’s error count remained too high in the crucial moments, and Melikgazi Bld’s experience showed in how they managed the closing points.

Standout performers

Melikgazi Bld’s opposite hitter was a steady scoring threat, while their libero ensured the back court remained organized under pressure. The visiting middle blockers also made a clear impact, especially in the second set when Sanliurfa’s attack became predictable.

For Sanliurfa B.Sehir Bld., the third-set effort was a positive. Their block and home support gave them a platform, but they needed a stronger start to the match to put real scoreboard pressure on a well-drilled Melikgazi side.
