CV Kiele Socuellamos Women produced a composed, professional display in a Club Friendly Women fixture, sweeping Benidorm W 3-0 in straight sets. The Spanish visitors controlled the tempo from the opening rally, never allowing the home side to settle, and closed out the match without dropping a set.

Match Overview

Friendly fixtures are about preparation as much as result, and Kiele Socuellamos used this meeting to test rotations, sharpen their serving rhythm, and build match fitness ahead of their competitive commitments. Benidorm W, playing on home territory, struggled to find consistency against an opponent with a clear edge in execution at the net.

Set-by-Set Summary

• Set 1 – Kiele Socuellamos 25-19: The visitors set the tone early with aggressive serving and a well-organized block, pulling away midway through the set.
• Set 2 – Kiele Socuellamos 25-22: Benidorm W improved markedly, trading points deep into the set before a late Kiele scoring run closed the door.
• Set 3 – Kiele Socuellamos 25-20: The most competitive phase in terms of rally length, but Kiele's efficiency in transition kept them comfortably ahead.

Key Moments

Benidorm's best patch came in the middle of the second set, when a strong serving sequence briefly put them in front and injected energy into the home crowd. The response from Kiele Socuellamos was immediate and clinical: a well-disguised tip, a block on the right side, and two clean transition kills restored the lead. From that point on, the visitors never surrendered control of the match.

Tactical Story

Kiele Socuellamos played with evident structure. Their reception held under pressure, which allowed a varied attacking distribution across the front row and kept Benidorm's block off balance. Defensively, they read the home side's tendencies well, crowding the line and forcing swings into the middle of the court where their libero was consistently well positioned.

Benidorm W showed flashes of quality, particularly in serve-receive and in their willingness to extend rallies, but unforced errors at key moments repeatedly handed momentum back to the visitors. Developing the patience to close out tight sets is exactly what these preseason tests are designed to address.

Standout Performances

• Kiele Socuellamos setter: Distributed the ball intelligently all night and kept the offense unpredictable.
• Kiele Socuellamos outside hitters: Efficient from the wings, converting a high percentage of their swings in system.
• Kiele Socuellamos middle blockers: Dominant at the net, influencing Benidorm's shot selection throughout.
• Benidorm W libero: One of the bright spots for the home side, repeatedly keeping rallies alive with determined floor defense.

What It Means

A 3-0 friendly win gives Kiele Socuellamos exactly what they wanted from the trip: a clean result, valuable minutes for the whole squad, and confirmation that their systems are functioning ahead of the competitive season. For Benidorm W, the scoreline is less important than the lessons — the team's improved second-set showing suggests there is a solid foundation to build on, and the coaching staff will have clear areas to target in training, particularly sideout consistency and end-of-set execution.

Both clubs will continue their preseason preparations, with this fixture serving as a useful benchmark on the road toward the matches that count.
