Women strengthened their status as one of the leading contenders at the 2019 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship when they dismissed Air Force Women 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-14) in Tianjin on 29 April. The Thai side controlled the contest from the opening whistle, blending a sharp attacking menu with the serving pressure that unhinged the Filipino defence throughout the afternoon.

Control established early

Although Air Force entered the match with plenty of competitive energy, Supreme Chonburi's block-and-transition game quickly set the tone. The Thai spikers found repeat success down the wings, while the middle hitters kept the opposing setters guessing. By the time the opening set ended at 25-18, Supreme had already established an edge in first-ball points and side-out efficiency.

The second set saw the Thai side's floor defence shine. Long rallies ended with Air Force errors as Supreme's back-row coverage neutralised the Philippines' best attacks. The Thai team's service pressure forced a series of broken plays and Air Force never recovered. A comfortable 25-14 close completed the sweep and delivered a statement performance to their tournament rivals.
