The result keeps the Glamour Boys firmly in the hunt for the title, while TelOne are left to rue a disjointed display that saw them overrun in midfield and carved open on the counter.

First-half dominance sets the tone

Dynamos wasted little time asserting their authority. In the 12th minute, a flowing move down the right flank ended with a precise low cross that was turned in by striker Kingston Ndemera for his eighth league goal of the season. The home side doubled the lead just before the half-hour mark when midfielder Tafadzwa Rusike unleashed a dipping strike from 25 yards that sailed past the helpless TelOne goalkeeper.

TelOne struggled to create any meaningful chances, with their forward line isolated against a well-organised Dynamos back four. The visitors' best opportunity came from a free-kick that was comfortably saved by Dynamos keeper Maxwell Nyamupangedengu.

Second-half control and third goal

The second half followed a similar pattern. Dynamos kept possession intelligently, drawing TelOne out of shape before striking again in the 67th minute. Substitute Blessing Moyo latched onto a through-ball, rounded the keeper, and slotted home to make it 3-0. From there, the match was effectively over, and Dynamos coasted to a clean sheet.

Impact on the standings

The victory moves Dynamos into second place on the log, just two points behind the leaders with a game in hand. For TelOne, the defeat leaves them mired in the bottom half of the table, now winless in four matches. Head coach Graham Ncube will need to find solutions quickly to arrest the slide.
