FarDU edge FC Lochin 2-1 in Uzbekistan Pro League contest

FarDU came away with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over FC Lochin in their Uzbekistan Pro League meeting on 26 October 2026, turning a competitive away fixture into three valuable points. The match delivered the kind of tight, momentum-shifting football that has become a hallmark of the Pro League, with Lochin’s early energy and FarDU’s second-half control shaping the final result.

FC Lochin began with intent, pressing higher up the pitch and looking to force mistakes in FarDU’s build-up. That approach produced the opening goal, with Lochin’s attacking move down the right eventually finding a finish inside the penalty area. The home side’s lead gave the match an early edge, but FarDU responded calmly rather than allowing the game to slip away.

Match overview

FarDU grew into the contest as the first half wore on, tightening their midfield shape and beginning to win more second balls. Their equaliser arrived before the interval, capping a spell of pressure and changing the tone of the dressing-room talk at half-time. After the break, FarDU looked the more composed side, controlling possession for longer stretches and asking Lochin to defend deeper.

The decisive moment came in the second half when FarDU found the winning goal, finishing off a well-worked attacking sequence. Lochin pushed for a response and created late pressure, but FarDU’s defensive discipline held firm through the final minutes.

Key moments

• Opening goal: FC Lochin struck first after a bright start, rewarding their early pressing with a close-range finish.
• FarDU equaliser: The visitors levelled before half-time after sustained pressure and a quick exchange in and around the box.
• Winning goal: FarDU completed the comeback in the second half with a composed finish following a strong midfield transition.
• Late Lochin push: The home side threw bodies forward in the closing stages, but FarDU defended their lead with maturity.

Tactical story

Lochin’s early approach was built on urgency: pressing high, squeezing space and trying to turn FarDU over in promising areas. It worked for a period, but FarDU gradually adjusted by dropping a midfielder closer to the first line of build-up and using wider angles to escape pressure. That tweak allowed FarDU to dictate tempo after half-time and forced Lochin to expend more energy chasing the game.

FarDU’s willingness to stay compact without the ball proved just as important as their attacking spells. Once they took the lead, they protected the central areas well and made Lochin’s final-third entries difficult. The home side had moments of promise, especially from wide areas, but could not find a second equaliser.

Standout performers

FarDU’s midfield axis deserves credit for turning the match after a difficult opening phase, while their goalkeeper produced a composed display during Lochin’s late surge. For Lochin, the positive was the energy and attacking intent shown early on, though the home side will rue not making more of their first-half control. The result will be reflected in the latest Uzbekistan Pro League standings, with FarDU taking the points and Lochin left to regroup.
