Qashqadaryo FA produced a dominant and ruthless performance on Saturday, hammering Azure 5-0 in the UZB D1B. The home side were in complete control from the first whistle, scoring early and never allowing their opponents a way back into the match. It was a result that underlined Qashqadaryo's attacking quality and their ambitions for the season.

Qashqadaryo run riot at home

The tone was set inside the opening ten minutes when Qashqadaryo took the lead with a well-worked team goal. Azure tried to respond, but they struggled to keep possession and were repeatedly undone by Qashqadaryo's quick passing and movement. By half-time, the scoreline already reflected the home side's dominance.

The second half was more of the same. Qashqadaryo added further goals, and Azure's defence, which had started the game with a deep block, became increasingly stretched. The home side's midfield controlled the tempo, and their forwards were clinical whenever chances arrived.

Key moments

• 9th minute: Jasur Toshmatov opened the scoring with a composed finish after a slick passing move.
• 27th minute: Toshmatov doubled his tally with a powerful strike from the edge of the box.
• 41st minute: Bekzod Ergashev made it 3-0 with a header from a corner.
• 58th minute: Sardor Qulmatov added a fourth after a quick counter-attack.
• 77th minute: Aziz Rakhimov completed the scoring with a low drive into the bottom corner.

Tactical story: dominance in every department

Qashqadaryo lined up in an aggressive 4-3-3 and pressed Azure high up the pitch. Their midfield trio won the majority of second balls, allowing the team to sustain attacks and keep Azure pinned in their own half. The full-backs pushed forward at every opportunity, creating overloads on the flanks and delivering a stream of crosses into the box.

Azure, by contrast, struggled to string passes together. Their attempts to play out from the back were repeatedly intercepted, and their defensive line dropped deeper and deeper as the game progressed. The lack of a consistent outlet up front meant they were never able to relieve the pressure, and Qashqadaryo's fifth goal felt inevitable long before it arrived.

Standout players

Toshmatov was the star of the show, scoring twice and causing problems with his movement all evening. Ergashev's aerial presence was a constant threat, and his header was a reward for his intelligent positioning. Qulmatov and Rakhimov both impressed with their energy and finishing, while the Qashqadaryo goalkeeper had a quiet night thanks to the protection in front of him.

Season impact

The emphatic victory strengthens Qashqadaryo FA's position in the UZB D1B and gives their goal difference a significant boost. For Azure, it is a heavy defeat that will require a strong response in the coming matches. Qashqadaryo's fans will be hoping this performance is a sign of things to come as the season moves into its decisive phase.
