The result gave the hosts a clean sheet, three important points and a clear statement of intent in the league standings.

Match overview

OKMK Semurg Angren started brightly and quickly established a grip on the match, pressing AKFA high and forcing mistakes in the visitors’ build-up. The home side’s midfield dictated the tempo, moving the ball from side to side to stretch the defensive block, while the front players attacked the spaces between the full-backs and centre-backs.

Once the opening goal arrived, the contest shifted decisively. AKFA tried to respond, but OKMK Semurg Angren’s defensive line remained compact and alert to counter-attacks. In the second half, the hosts added further goals and managed the game professionally, denying AKFA any real route back into the contest.

Tactical story

OKMK Semurg Angren’s 3-0 win was built on a high pressing structure and quick ball circulation. The midfield duo protected the defence while also linking play efficiently, allowing the wide players to push forward and create numerical advantages in the final third. AKFA struggled to play through the first line of pressure and were often forced into long balls that the home defence dealt with comfortably.

The hosts also used width intelligently, repeatedly drawing AKFA’s defensive block across before switching play to the opposite flank. That patient approach created space for the second and third goals, and it underlined why OKMK Semurg Angren looked the stronger side throughout.

Standout players

Sardor Tursunov’s opener set the tone, but the performance was a collective one. Bekzod Melikov’s movement and link-up play caused constant problems, while Javohir Rahimov’s energy and finishing capped a strong attacking display. In midfield, OKMK Semurg Angren’s control of the central areas was key, and the defence’s organisation ensured AKFA never found a foothold.

Season impact

The three points strengthen OKMK Semurg Angren’s position in the UZB D1B standings and give the team momentum for the matches ahead. A 3-0 home win with a clean sheet is the kind of result that builds confidence at both ends of the pitch. For AKFA, the match highlighted the need for greater composure under pressure and a more reliable route through midfield, especially away from home.

In a league where consistency matters, OKMK Semurg Angren’s performance was a reminder of their potential. The scoreline was comfortable, the clean sheet was deserved, and the attacking variety on show made this a complete team victory.
