FC Surkhon Termez and Buxoro FA produced the most entertaining match of the UZB D1B round, with the visitors edging a remarkable seven-goal thriller 4-3 on 4 October 2026. The scoreline swung repeatedly across the ninety minutes before Buxoro finally held on to claim all three points in a game that will be remembered for its attacking quality.

An Instant Classic

From the opening exchanges, it was clear neither side had travelled with defensive caution on their agenda. Surkhon Termez attacked with width and tempo, while Buxoro FA responded with quick, direct transitions through the centre. The result was a breathless contest in which the momentum shifted almost every ten minutes.

Key Moments

• Early pressure: Surkhon Termez started brightly in front of their home support, creating the first genuine chances and forcing Buxoro's goalkeeper into early saves.
• Buxoro's response: The visitors found their rhythm and began exploiting space in behind, converting their chances with impressive efficiency.
• See-saw second half: The lead changed hands as both teams traded goals, with Surkhon refusing to fold even when trailing.
• The decisive fourth: Buxoro FA restored their advantage in the closing stages and then defended resiliently to protect a one-goal cushion to the final whistle.

Why the Game Was Won

Buxoro's edge came from their ruthlessness rather than their dominance. Surkhon Termez enjoyed long spells of possession and created a healthy number of chances, but the visitors converted a higher proportion of the opportunities they generated. In a match with seven goals, the difference between winning and losing is often that single extra moment of quality in front of goal — and Buxoro found it.

Defensively, both sides will have plenty to review. Surkhon's back line struggled to track runners into the box, while Buxoro allowed their opponents far too much room on the flanks. For the neutral, though, the openness of the contest produced exactly the kind of spectacle the UZB D1B delivers on its best days.

Standout Performers

Buxoro's attacking players were decisive in the final third, turning half-chances into goals at critical moments. For Surkhon Termez, the attacking effort was admirable — scoring three goals at home and still losing is a harsh outcome — and their forward line's movement caused constant problems for a Buxoro defence that will be relieved to escape with the win.

Season Impact

Taking three points away from a fixture as demanding as this is a significant boost for Buxoro FA's league ambitions. A 4-3 road victory strengthens both the points total and the team's belief in high-scoring matches. Surkhon Termez, meanwhile, are left with the frustration of a strong attacking display unrewarded, and will be focused on tightening a defence that has now conceded heavily in a match they were well capable of winning.
