Nasaf Qarshi B came from behind to beat Buxoro FA 2-1 in the UZB D1B on 14 October 2026, in a match that showcased the resilience and tactical discipline of one of Uzbekistan's strongest footballing academies. The visitors conceded first but controlled the second half almost entirely, turning the game around with two well-constructed goals.

Match Overview

The 18:00 kick-off produced a lively opening, with Buxoro FA starting brightly in front of their own supporters and pressing high in an attempt to unsettle Nasaf's young back line. Their reward came shortly after the half-hour mark, when a quick move down the right produced the opening goal and a deserved 1-0 lead.

From that point on, the match changed character. Nasaf Qarshi B began to dominate possession, moved the ball faster through midfield, and gradually pinned the home side inside their own half. The equaliser arrived early in the second period, and the winner followed late as Buxoro's resistance finally broke.

Key Moments

• 34' — 1-0 Buxoro FA: A driving run from the right flank was followed by a driven cross that was turned in at the near post.
• 45+1' — Chance for two: Buxoro nearly doubled the lead on the counter, but the shot flashed wide of the far post.
• 52' — 1-1: Nasaf worked the ball patiently across the box before a clever reverse pass released a runner to finish low into the corner.
• 71' — Goalkeeping save: Buxoro's keeper produced a reflex stop to deny a close-range header and keep the scores level.
• 88' — 1-2: A late corner was only half-cleared, and Nasaf's midfielder struck the loose ball through a crowd to win the match.

Tactical Story

Nasaf Qarshi B's comeback was built on a simple adjustment. In the first half, they attacked too directly, allowing Buxoro's centre-backs to win aerial duels comfortably. After the interval, the visitors began using shorter passes and rotating positions, pulling defenders out of their zones and creating space between the lines.

Buxoro FA, meanwhile, became progressively more passive. Their midfield dropped closer to the defence after conceding the equaliser, which reduced their ability to counter-attack and invited sustained pressure. When the winning goal came from a set piece, it felt like the logical conclusion to a half played almost entirely in one direction.

Standout Performers

Nasaf's central midfielder was the game's most influential player, dictating rhythm and arriving late in the box to score the decisive goal. The wide forward who provided the assist for the equaliser was a constant outlet, while the goalkeeper handled several dangerous crosses well in the closing stages.

For Buxoro FA, the goalscorer was sharp and took his chance well, and the goalkeeper's second-half saves kept his team in contention longer than the run of play suggested. The defensive midfielder worked hard to shield the back four before fatigue set in during the final 20 minutes.

Table and Season Impact

Three away points are especially valuable in the UZB D1B, where travel and squad rotation often shape results. The win keeps Nasaf Qarshi B firmly in the conversation among the division's leading sides and adds another encouraging entry to their recent form guide.

Buxoro FA remain a competitive outfit at home, but this result highlights the importance of game management in the closing stages. Their next fixture offers a chance to respond quickly, and the head-to-head record with Nasaf will be one to watch when the sides meet again.
