Match overview

Bratslav Vinnytsia started with high energy, pressing Skala 1911 Stryi deep in their own half and forcing turnovers. Skala tried to respond through direct balls forward, but Bratslav’s defence remained alert and compact.

• Second goal: A well-delivered cross was converted before half-time, doubling the home side’s advantage.

Tactical story

Bratslav Vinnytsia’s high press was the foundation of their win. By denying Skala 1911 Stryi time on the ball, they forced errors and won possession in dangerous areas. Their wide players stretched the defence, while the central midfielders arrived late in the box to support attacks. It was a cohesive performance built on intensity and quick ball movement.

Skala 1911 Stryi tried to sit deeper and hit on the counter, but they were often isolated in attack. When they did win the ball, their forward passes lacked support, allowing Bratslav to regain possession quickly. Defensively, Skala struggled with runners from midfield, which led directly to at least two of the goals.

Standout players

Bratslav Vinnytsia’s No. 10 was the creative hub, linking midfield and attack with clever passes. The centre-forward led the line well and was rewarded with a goal, while the centre-back pair were composed throughout and rarely troubled. For Skala 1911 Stryi, their goalkeeper made a few saves to prevent a heavier defeat, and their captain tried to drive the team forward despite the difficult evening.

Season impact

This 3-0 win gives Bratslav Vinnytsia a significant boost in the Ukrainian Second League standings and improves their goal difference. The clean sheet will be especially pleasing for the coaching staff, as it shows the team can combine attacking flair with defensive discipline. Skala 1911 Stryi will need to regroup quickly, as dropped points in this manner can affect confidence in a long season.
