Vipers SC produced a dominant 4-0 away victory over Blacks Power FC in the Uganda Premier League on Thursday, October 8, 2026. The match, played at 21:00 local time, turned into a one-sided affair as Vipers scored four unanswered goals to claim an emphatic three points and underline their title credentials.

Match Overview

From the opening whistle, Vipers SC looked sharper, faster, and more confident. They controlled possession, pressed Blacks Power FC high up the pitch, and created chances with regularity. Blacks Power struggled to keep the ball under pressure, and once Vipers took the lead, the visitors never looked back.

The 4-0 scoreline was built on clinical finishing and relentless attacking intent. Vipers did not simply protect their advantage; they continued to push forward and were rewarded with more goals. For Blacks Power, it was a difficult evening against one of the strongest sides in the Uganda Premier League.

Key Moments

• Early opener: Vipers SC took the lead after a quick attacking move, setting the tone for the match.
• Second goal: The visitors doubled their advantage before half-time, punishing Blacks Power for losing possession in midfield.
• Second-half control: Vipers added a third goal soon after the restart, effectively ending any hope of a comeback.
• Fourth goal: A late fourth completed the rout, capping a ruthless away performance.

Tactical Story

Vipers SC’s tactical dominance was clear. Their midfield won the ball back quickly and moved it forward with purpose. The wide players stretched Blacks Power’s defense, while the central attackers found space between the lines. The result was a steady stream of chances and a defense that never looked comfortable.

Blacks Power FC attempted to press and disrupt Vipers’ rhythm, but they were often left exposed. When they did win possession, their transitions were too slow, allowing Vipers to regroup and snuff out attacks. The home side’s best moments came from set pieces and brief spells of pressure, but they lacked the final touch to trouble the scoreboard.

Standout Performances

Vipers SC’s attacking players shared the spotlight. The forward line was mobile and unselfish, creating space for one another and finishing with confidence. The midfield controlled the tempo, and the defense maintained concentration to keep a clean sheet. It was a complete team performance from the visitors.

For Blacks Power FC, the match was a harsh lesson. Their goalkeeper was busy throughout, and the defense faced waves of pressure. The team’s effort did not waver, but the gap in quality and execution was evident. They will need to regroup quickly to avoid the result affecting their confidence in the coming weeks.

What the Result Means

Vipers SC’s 4-0 win sends a clear message in the Uganda Premier League standings. A dominant away performance of this kind can boost goal difference, morale, and belief ahead of a demanding run of fixtures. Blacks Power FC, meanwhile, must address defensive errors and improve their ability to keep possession under pressure. The scoreline was painful, but the response in the next match will matter most.
