Tactical Story

Ararat-Armenia tried to defend deep and hit on the counter, but they were often pinned back and struggled to keep possession. Jagiellonia's midfield trio controlled the game, and their quick passing carved open the Armenian defense repeatedly. The only blemish was a momentary lapse that allowed Avanesyan to score.

Afimico Pululu was the star of the show, his two goals showcasing his finishing ability and movement. Jesús Imaz was lively throughout, and Taras Romanczuk dominated the midfield. For Ararat-Armenia, goalkeeper Ognjen Čančarević made several saves to prevent a heavier defeat, and Avanesyan's goal was a rare highlight.

Season Impact

Jagiellonia now have six points from three matches, putting them in a strong position to advance. Ararat-Armenia remain on one point and face a tough task to qualify. The result underlines Jagiellonia's growing reputation in European competition, while Ararat-Armenia must regroup quickly to keep their hopes alive.
