Trabzonspor Women delivered a dominant away performance in the Turkish Women’s Super League, defeating Haymanaspor (W) 4-0 on 18 October 2026. The visitors controlled the match from the early stages, pressed with intensity, and converted their superiority into goals across both halves.

Match Overview

Haymanaspor (W) had hoped to use home advantage to impose themselves, but Trabzonspor Women quickly established control. The visitors pressed high, won the ball back in dangerous areas, and forced Haymanaspor into hurried clearances. Once Trabzonspor scored the opener, the match settled into a pattern that favoured the away side.

Trabzonspor doubled their lead before half-time and added two more goals after the restart. Haymanaspor tried to respond with direct attacks, but they struggled to maintain possession long enough to build sustained pressure. Trabzonspor’s defensive line stayed composed, and the team’s midfield continued to dictate the rhythm of the game until the final whistle.

Key Moments

• Early opener: Trabzonspor Women took the lead after a high press forced a turnover and a quick finish in the box.
• Second goal: A wide overload created space for a cross that was converted before half-time.
• Third goal: Shortly after the restart, Trabzonspor struck again to remove any doubt about the result.
• Fourth goal: A late move through the middle capped a complete attacking display.

Tactical Story

Trabzonspor Women’s high pressing was the defining feature of the match. Their forward line worked together to close down Haymanaspor’s centre-backs, while the midfield pushed up to prevent easy passes into the middle. That pressure led to turnovers in advanced areas and allowed Trabzonspor to attack before the home defence could set.

In possession, Trabzonspor used the width of the pitch effectively. Their wingers stretched Haymanaspor’s back line, creating space for central runners and late arrivals in the box. Haymanaspor, meanwhile, found it difficult to transition from defence to attack. Their pressing was less coordinated, and their midfield was often bypassed by Trabzonspor’s quick passing. The 4-0 scoreline reflected the visitors’ control over both the ball and the territory.

Standout Performers

Trabzonspor’s attacking midfielder was at the heart of most of the team’s best moves, linking play and finding pockets of space between the lines. The wingers caused constant problems with direct running, while the defensive unit remained alert to Haymanaspor’s occasional counter-attacks. Haymanaspor’s goalkeeper made several saves, but the home side struggled to protect the central areas.

Season Impact

The three points and a four-goal margin make this a statement result for Trabzonspor Women in the Turkish Women’s Super League. Goal difference can be crucial over the course of a season, and this away win strengthens both the team’s position and its confidence. For Haymanaspor (W), the defeat is a difficult lesson in dealing with sustained pressure, and the side will need a more compact and composed performance in its next outing.
