Haymanaspor (W) produced a ruthless statement performance in the Turkish Women's Super League, thrashing Giresun Sanayispor Women 8-0 in an evening fixture on 28 October 2026. The home side controlled the match from the opening stages and never allowed their opponents to settle, turning a competitive league encounter into a comprehensive attacking showcase.

A one-sided contest from the start

Haymanaspor set the tone with an aggressive press and quick ball circulation, forcing Giresun Sanayispor Women into repeated defensive errors. Once the first goal arrived, the hosts grew in confidence and the spaces began to open. By the time the first half reached its closing stages, the match had already taken on a clear direction, with Haymanaspor dictating both the tempo and the territory.

The scoreline of 8-0 reflected the home side's dominance in almost every department. Haymanaspor created chances through central combinations, wide overlaps and set pieces, while Giresun struggled to maintain possession for long enough to relieve the pressure. The visitors defended with effort, but the sheer volume of attacking waves eventually told.

How the rout unfolded

Haymanaspor's midfield controlled the rhythm of the game, winning second balls and feeding the forwards quickly. The hosts repeatedly attacked the channels and used sharp combinations around the penalty area to pull the Giresun defence out of shape. A number of different players contributed to the scoring, underlining the team's attacking depth rather than relying on a single outlet.

As the goals piled up, Giresun Sanayispor Women found it increasingly difficult to push out of their own half. Every attempted clearance was met with another wave of pressure, and Haymanaspor's substitutes maintained the same intensity after coming on. The closing stages were played at a comfortable pace for the hosts, who managed the game professionally while still adding to the scoreline.

Defensive discipline and game management

While the eight goals naturally drew the attention, Haymanaspor also completed the victory with a clean sheet. Their back line remained compact, the goalkeeper was well protected, and the team's counter-pressing prevented Giresun from finding any meaningful rhythm in the final third. It was a complete performance: clinical in attack, organised without the ball and focused until the final whistle.

What the result means

The three points and a significant boost to their goal difference make this one of Haymanaspor's most valuable results of the season. In a league where standings can be shaped by fine margins, an 8-0 win carries extra weight and sends a strong message to the rest of the division. For Giresun Sanayispor Women, the focus will quickly turn to regrouping and restoring confidence ahead of their next fixture.

Haymanaspor will look to use this performance as a benchmark. The movement, finishing and collective pressing on display made them look like a side capable of dictating matches against any opponent. For neutral supporters, it was a clear reminder of how devastating the team can be when its attacking pieces click.
