Fenerbahce SK Women delivered a dominant performance to thrash Haymanaspor (W) 5-0 in the Turkish Women’s Super League on 24 October 2026. The home side were ruthless in front of goal, turning sustained pressure into a convincing victory that underlined their title credentials.

Match overview

Fenerbahce controlled the match from the first whistle, pushing Haymanaspor deep into their own half with quick passing and aggressive pressing. The breakthrough came early, and once the first goal went in, the home side’s confidence visibly grew. A second goal followed before half-time as Fenerbahce’s attacking players found space between the lines and exploited gaps in the visiting defence.

The second half was one-way traffic. Fenerbahce added three more goals, mixing patient build-up with direct runs behind the Haymanaspor back line. Haymanaspor worked hard to limit the damage and had brief spells of possession, but they could not contain Fenerbahce’s movement or stop the flow of chances. The final whistle confirmed a statement win for the hosts.

Key moments

• Fenerbahce opened the scoring early, settling any nerves and setting the tone.
• A second goal before half-time gave the home side full control of the contest.
• Fenerbahce scored three more in the second half as Haymanaspor struggled to cope with the pressure.
• Haymanaspor’s goalkeeper made several saves, but the attacking waves kept coming.

Tactical story

Fenerbahce’s tactics were built on width and quick ball circulation. Their full-backs pushed high, stretching Haymanaspor’s defensive block and creating room for the forwards to attack the penalty area. The midfield trio dominated second balls and recycled possession efficiently, ensuring the pressure rarely relented.

Haymanaspor tried to defend in a deep block and hit on the counter, but they were often isolated in attack and could not keep the ball long enough to relieve pressure. Fenerbahce’s pressing after losing possession was particularly impressive, winning the ball back quickly and sustaining attacks. The scoreline reflected the difference in attacking quality and territorial control.

Standout performers

Fenerbahce’s attacking players were the obvious difference-makers, with one forward helping herself to a brace and another causing constant problems with her movement. The midfield captain controlled the tempo, while the goalkeeper was rarely tested but remained alert when called upon. For Haymanaspor, the goalkeeper deserved credit for several saves, and the centre-back continued to compete despite the scoreline.

Season impact

The 5-0 win is a major boost for Fenerbahce’s goal difference and sends a clear message to their rivals in the Turkish Women’s Super League. It also builds momentum for the next phase of the season. For Haymanaspor, the result is a tough lesson, but the focus will quickly shift to regrouping defensively and finding a more effective way to compete in upcoming matches.
