Tactical story

Galatasaray’s pressing structure was the foundation of the win. They denied Antalya time on the ball in central areas and forced play wide, where the visitors’ full-backs could step in and win possession. In attack, Galatasaray used width brilliantly, stretching the home defence before attacking the box with late runners. Antalya’s best moments came from set pieces, but they struggled to sustain pressure and were repeatedly exposed when they lost the ball in advanced positions.

Standout players

Melisa Esen was at the heart of Galatasaray’s best attacking play, scoring the opener and creating space for others with her movement. Sude Yılmaz controlled the midfield tempo and capped her performance with a goal. Elif Keskin’s late strike was a reward for her energy off the bench. For 1207 Antalya Muratpasa, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the scoreline respectable, but the home side lacked the attacking punch to trouble their opponents.

Season impact

The result reinforces Galatasaray SK Women’s ambitions in the Turkish Women’s Super League, adding three valuable away points and a significant boost to their goal difference. For 1207 Antalya Muratpasa Women, the defeat highlights the gap to the division’s leading sides and the need for a more compact defensive performance in upcoming fixtures. Galatasaray’s ability to score four away from home sends a clear message to the rest of the title contenders.
