Amedspor U19 3-1 Konyaspor U19: Hosts claim deserved Turkish U19 A2 League win

Amedspor U19 defeated Konyaspor U19 3-1 in the Turkish U19 A2 League on 17 October 2026, producing a composed and energetic home performance that was rewarded with three valuable points.

Amedspor set the tone early with aggressive pressing and quick ball movement. Two first-half goals gave them a deserved cushion, and although Konyaspor U19 pulled one back after the break, the home side restored their advantage late on to close out the win.

Match overview

The home team started brightly and forced Konyaspor into a series of defensive errors. Amedspor’s midfield won the majority of the early duels, allowing their forwards to receive the ball in dangerous areas. The opening goal came from a well-timed run into the box, and the second followed before half-time as Konyaspor struggled to deal with Amedspor’s intensity.

Konyaspor improved after the interval and briefly threatened a comeback when they reduced the deficit. However, Amedspor managed the game well, slowed the tempo when needed and secured the result with a late third goal.

Key moments

• 14' — Amedspor take the lead: Baran Demir finished calmly after a clever through ball split the Konyaspor defence.
• 38' — Amedspor double the lead: Yusuf Kaya struck from the edge of the area after a short corner routine.
• 63' — Konyaspor pull one back: Emre Çelik converted a cross from the right to give the visitors hope.
• 86' — Amedspor seal the win: Baran Demir scored his second of the match on the counter-attack.

Tactical story

Amedspor U19’s victory was built on energy and organisation. Their midfield pressed in coordinated bursts, forcing Konyaspor into long passes that were comfortably defended. When Amedspor won the ball back, they moved it forward quickly and attacked the spaces around Konyaspor’s centre-backs.

Konyaspor U19 had better spells in the second half, particularly after their goal, but they could not sustain the pressure. Amedspor’s decision to drop slightly deeper in the final 20 minutes protected their lead and created room for the counter-attack that produced the third goal.

Standout performers

Baran Demir was the key figure for Amedspor U19, scoring twice and leading the line with intelligence. Yusuf Kaya controlled the midfield tempo and capped his display with a goal. For Konyaspor U19, Emre Çelik was their most dangerous player and took his goal well, but the visitors lacked the same level of control across the match.

What the result means

The win gives Amedspor U19 an important lift in the Turkish U19 A2 League and highlights the progress of their young squad. Konyaspor U19 will take lessons from the defeat, especially in how they managed Amedspor’s pressing. For the home side, it was a performance that combined intensity, discipline and enough quality in the final third to earn a clear victory.
