Kocaelispor U19 delivered a ruthless attacking performance to beat Alanyaspor U19 5-1 in the Turkish U19 A2 League, with a dominant first-half display setting the tone for a convincing away victory.

Match overview

The match began at 20:00 on 23 October 2026, and Kocaelispor U19 needed only seven minutes to take the lead. From that point on, the visitors looked sharper in possession, more aggressive in the press and far more clinical in front of goal. Alanyaspor U19 briefly responded with a goal in the first half, but they could not contain Kocaelispor’s midfield runners or their direct attacks down the channels.

By the final whistle, the scoreline reflected the balance of play. Kocaelispor scored five times, created several other chances and managed the game comfortably after restoring their two-goal cushion early in the second half.

Key moments

• 7' – Kocaelispor take the lead: Emir Kaya latched onto a loose ball inside the box and finished low into the corner.
• 23' – A second goal: Berat Yıldız doubled the advantage with a composed finish after a quick passing move opened up the Alanyaspor defence.
• 41' – Alanyaspor pull one back: Ege Çelik gave the hosts brief hope with a well-struck effort from the edge of the area.
• 56' – Kocaelispor restore control: Mert Demir scored from a set-piece scramble to make it 3-1.

• 84' – Yıldız completes the rout: Berat Yıldız added his second with a calm finish on the counterattack.

Tactical story

Kocaelispor U19 pressed high from the opening whistle, forcing Alanyaspor into mistakes in their own half. Their midfield trio covered ground effectively, winning second balls and feeding the forwards quickly. The front two rotated well, dragging centre-backs out of position and creating space for late runs.

Alanyaspor’s goal was a reminder of their attacking potential, but their defensive shape became stretched as they chased the game. Kocaelispor exploited that space with direct running and intelligent off-the-ball movement, especially in the second half.

Standout performers

Emir Kaya and Berat Yıldız were the headline acts, each scoring twice and stretching the Alanyaspor defence throughout. Mert Demir controlled the tempo in midfield and added a goal of his own. For Alanyaspor, Ege Çelik was the brightest spark, taking his goal well and working hard despite limited service.

Table impact

The result is a significant statement in the Turkish U19 A2 League, boosting Kocaelispor U19’s goal difference and confidence. Alanyaspor U19 will need to regroup quickly, particularly defensively, as they prepare for their next fixture. Kocaelispor, meanwhile, will look to carry this attacking momentum into the coming weeks.
