Yesil Yalova FK and Yeni Amasya Spor shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in the Turkish Third League on 18 October 2026. Yeni Amasya Spor led after the break, but Yesil Yalova FK found a late equalizer to earn a deserved point in a tightly contested match.

Match overview

The first half was cautious, with both sides prioritising defensive structure over attacking risk. Yesil Yalova FK saw more of the ball but struggled to break down a disciplined Yeni Amasya Spor back line. The visitors sat compact, looked to counter through the channels, and created the clearer chances before the interval.

After the break, Yeni Amasya Spor took the lead and briefly looked capable of holding on. Yesil Yalova FK responded by increasing the tempo, pushing more bodies forward, and eventually found the equalizer through sustained pressure. Both teams had chances to win it in the closing stages, but a draw was a fair reflection of the contest.

Key moments

• 52nd minute – Yeni Amasya Spor take the lead: A quick counterattack ended with a low finish from inside the box after Yesil Yalova’s defence was caught out of shape.
• 79th minute – Yesil Yalova FK equalize: A well-worked move down the left created space for a cut-back, and the home side converted from close range.
• 90+3 minutes – Late chance: Yesil Yalova FK nearly won it from a corner, but Yeni Amasya Spor’s goalkeeper reacted well to claim the ball under pressure.

Tactical story

Yesil Yalova FK controlled possession for long spells but lacked penetration in the first half. Their midfield circulated the ball patiently, yet Yeni Amasya Spor’s compact defensive block limited space in the final third. The visitors’ plan was clear: stay organised, win the ball back, and attack quickly through the flanks.

Once Yeni Amasya Spor scored, Yesil Yalova FK had to commit more players forward. That increased the home side’s attacking threat but also left them vulnerable to counters. The equalizer came from a wide overload, with Yesil Yalova finally managing to get behind the defence and pull the ball back into a dangerous area.

Standout players

Yesil Yalova FK’s midfield kept the team moving forward and showed composure during the late push for an equalizer. The home side’s left-sided attacker was particularly influential in the second half, repeatedly testing the Yeni Amasya Spor full-back. For the visitors, the goalkeeper made several important saves, and the defensive unit worked hard to protect the lead for as long as possible.

Third League impact

The point keeps both sides in the mid-table conversation of the Turkish Third League, though neither will feel entirely satisfied. Yesil Yalova FK will take encouragement from their fighting spirit, while Yeni Amasya Spor will rue the missed opportunity to claim an away win. With the league table tightly packed, every point could prove valuable as the season progresses.
