Yeni Amasya Spor 0-3 Orduspor: Clinical Away Performance Secures Three Points

Orduspor produced a controlled and clinical away display to beat Yeni Amasya Spor 3-0 in the Turkish Third League on Saturday, 24 October 2026. Two first-half goals put the visitors in command, and a third after the break completed a comfortable win that underlined their quality at both ends of the pitch.

Yeni Amasya Spor struggled to find rhythm against an organised Orduspor side that defended with discipline and attacked with purpose. The home team had moments of possession but rarely threatened the goal, while Orduspor made the most of their chances and managed the game intelligently after taking the lead.

Match Overview

Orduspor started with confidence and took the game to their hosts. Their pressing forced Yeni Amasya Spor into several early errors, and the breakthrough came in the 18th minute when Burak Şahin latched onto a through ball, held off a defender and finished calmly past the goalkeeper.

The visitors doubled their advantage in the 39th minute. Kaan Aksoy found space on the edge of the box and struck a low effort that took a slight deflection on its way in, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance. The goal gave Orduspor a 2-0 lead at half-time and left Yeni Amasya Spor with a mountain to climb.

Any hope of a home comeback was effectively ended in the 73rd minute when Burak Şahin scored his second of the match, finishing off a well-worked move down the right. Orduspor then saw out the remaining minutes with maturity, keeping a clean sheet and limiting the hosts to efforts from distance.

Key Moments

• 18th minute: Burak Şahin opens the scoring for Orduspor with a composed one-on-one finish.
• 39th minute: Kaan Aksoy doubles the lead with a low strike from the edge of the area.
• 73rd minute: Burak Şahin scores his second to make it 3-0 and seal the result.
• Late save: Orduspor’s goalkeeper preserves the clean sheet with a strong stop in the closing stages.

Tactical Story

Orduspor set up with a compact midfield and looked to win the ball back quickly in the middle third. That approach disrupted Yeni Amasya Spor’s attempts to build through the centre and forced the home side into predictable wide deliveries. With the visitors’ centre-backs dominant in the air, those crosses were comfortably dealt with.

Going forward, Orduspor were direct and efficient. They attacked the space behind the full-backs and used quick combinations to create shooting opportunities. Yeni Amasya Spor, by contrast, lacked a cutting edge and found it difficult to sustain pressure for long periods. Once Orduspor scored the second goal, the game’s pattern was firmly established.

Standout Performers

Burak Şahin was the obvious match-winner for Orduspor, scoring twice and leading the line with intelligence. Kaan Aksoy added quality in midfield and capped his performance with a goal, while the visiting defence deserved credit for a disciplined clean sheet. For Yeni Amasya Spor, the goalkeeper made several good saves to prevent a heavier defeat, but the team struggled to create clear chances.

What the Result Means

The 3-0 victory gives Orduspor a strong away result in the Turkish Third League and adds momentum to their campaign. Yeni Amasya Spor, meanwhile, will need to regroup after a home defeat that exposed problems in both creativity and defensive solidity. The final score reflects Orduspor’s ruthlessness in front of goal and their control over the flow of the match.
