Kdz Ereglispor came from behind to beat Orduspor 1-2 in the Turkish Third League on 18 October 2026, producing a composed second-half display to turn the match around. Orduspor made the brighter start and took an early lead, but the visitors responded with increasing authority and found the winning goal after the break.

Match overview

Orduspor began with energy and used the home crowd to press Kdz Ereglispor high up the pitch. Their early pressure was rewarded when a well-worked move down the right ended with a low finish into the far corner. At that stage, the home side looked in control, but Kdz Ereglispor gradually settled and began to find space between the lines.

The equaliser arrived before half-time and changed the mood of the contest. A patient passing sequence drew Orduspor out of shape, and a precise through ball allowed Kdz Ereglispor to finish from close range. After the interval, the visitors looked the more cohesive side, and their winner came from a set-piece situation that Orduspor failed to defend convincingly.

Tactical story

Orduspor’s early pressing was effective but difficult to sustain, and as the first half wore on, their midfield began to leave gaps. Kdz Ereglispor adjusted by dropping one midfielder deeper to build play and using the wide areas to stretch the home side’s back line. Their equaliser was the product of patience, while the winner reflected their willingness to attack second balls around the penalty area.

In the second half, Orduspor struggled to regain the rhythm of the opening 20 minutes. Their crosses became more hopeful, and Kdz Ereglispor’s centre-backs dealt with the aerial threat well. The visitors also managed the clock smartly in the closing stages, breaking up play and keeping the ball in the corners when possible.

Standout performers

Kdz Ereglispor’s central midfielder was the game’s most influential figure, linking defence and attack and driving the comeback. The goalscorer who levelled before half-time showed excellent composure, while the defence grew stronger as the match progressed. For Orduspor, the right-sided attacker caused problems early on and scored the opener, but the home side lacked the same threat after the interval.

Season impact

The away win gives Kdz Ereglispor momentum in a demanding Turkish Third League season and underlines their ability to respond after conceding first. Orduspor, meanwhile, are left to reflect on a promising start that slipped away, with concentration at set-pieces and game management likely to be key areas in training. The three points are a meaningful early boost for the visitors, while the home side will want to restore their home form quickly.
