Alanya Kestelspor 0-2 Kepez Belediyespor — Kepez Belediyespor claimed a convincing 2-0 away win over Alanya Kestelspor in the Turkish Third League on 25 October 2026, using a goal in each half to secure all three points in an eagerly contested Antalya derby.

The match had extra edge because of the regional rivalry, and Kepez Belediyespor handled the occasion better from the opening whistle. Alanya Kestelspor had spells of possession, especially after the break, but the visitors were sharper in both boxes. A first-half breakthrough and a late second goal gave Kepez a deserved victory and left the home side searching for answers.

Match overview

Alanya Kestelspor began the game with a high line and looked to press Kepez Belediyespor into mistakes. The approach created some early half-chances, but it also left space behind the defence. Kepez were happy to play through that space, and their willingness to attack quickly turned the match in their favour. Once the visitors scored first, the game settled into a pattern: Alanya with the ball, Kepez with the better chances.

The second half brought more urgency from the home team. Alanya pushed their full-backs higher and tried to create overloads on the flanks, but Kepez’s defensive block held firm. The visitors were increasingly dangerous on the counter-attack, and their second goal arrived at the perfect moment to kill off any hopes of a comeback.

Key moments

• Opening goal: Kepez Belediyespor took the lead after a quick turnover, finishing calmly inside the penalty area.
• Alanya response: The home side forced several corners and shots from distance but could not find a clear path through.
• Second goal: Kepez doubled the advantage late on with a well-executed counter-attack, finished with composure.
• Late pressure: Alanya continued to push forward, but the visitors managed the final minutes comfortably.

Tactical story

Kepez Belediyespor’s victory was built on organisation and efficiency. They defended in a compact shape, denied Alanya space in central areas, and then attacked with purpose when they won the ball back. Their midfield worked hard to cover the spaces between the lines, while the forward players made intelligent runs into the channels. That combination made Kepez difficult to break down and dangerous on the break.

Alanya Kestelspor, by contrast, struggled to turn possession into genuine penetration. They moved the ball from side to side, but Kepez’s back line stayed disciplined and forced the home team into hopeful crosses. When Alanya did find a way into the box, the final pass or shot was missing. The home side’s frustration grew as the game wore on, and Kepez took full advantage of the spaces that appeared.

Standout performers

Kepez Belediyespor’s goalkeeper produced a confident display, dealing with crosses and making a key save to preserve the clean sheet. The visiting midfield controlled the rhythm of the game, while the forward line showed sharp movement and clinical finishing. For Alanya Kestelspor, the wide players provided the most consistent threat, but the team’s central attacking players were kept quiet by a well-drilled Kepez defence.

League impact

The three points are a significant boost for Kepez Belediyespor in the Turkish Third League, giving them momentum and local bragging rights. Alanya Kestelspor will need to respond quickly, particularly with questions about their ability to convert possession into goals. The result underlines how important defensive discipline and counter-attacking quality can be in a competitive derby, and Kepez will be eager to build on this performance in their next fixture.
