Alanya Kestelspor 0-1 Bursa Yıldırımspor — A single goal was enough for Bursa Yıldırımspor to take all three points from a tight Turkish Third League away fixture at Alanya Kestelspor. In a match of few clear chances, the visitors' defensive discipline and one moment of quality in front of goal proved the difference.

Match Overview

Both teams set up with caution, aware that the other possessed enough quality to punish any early gamble. The first half was largely a battle for territory, with few genuine sights of goal at either end. Alanya Kestelspor enjoyed slightly more possession, but Bursa Yıldırımspor's shape was compact and difficult to break down.

Key Moments

• 34th minute: Alanya Kestelspor's best chance of the first half — a shot from the edge of the box — was tipped over the crossbar.
• 52nd minute — 0-1: The decisive goal arrived after a quick turnover, with a precise angled finish into the far corner from just inside the area.
• 68th minute: The hosts appealed for a penalty after a tangle in the box, but the referee waved play on.
• 90th minute: A last-ditch block from a Bursa defender preserved the clean sheet as Alanya pushed bodies forward.

Tactical Story

The game was decided by transitions. Bursa Yıldırımspor defended deep and narrow, inviting Alanya to play in front of them, and then struck through the channels the moment possession changed hands. That pattern repeated throughout the second half, with the visitors content to sit on their lead and manage the clock.

Alanya Kestelspor, for their part, struggled to generate width in the final third. Their build-up was patient but predictable, and the lack of overlapping runs from full-back meant crosses were delivered from deep and comfortably defended. When they did get into promising positions, the final pass was rushed.

Standout Performers

Bursa Yıldırımspor's goalscorer deserves credit for a composed finish under pressure, but the man of the match was arguably their central defender, who won everything in the air and blocked two goal-bound efforts in the closing stages. The goalkeeper's command of his six-yard box was another key factor in the clean sheet. Alanya's standout performer was their captain, who worked tirelessly in midfield and created the team's two clearest openings.

What It Means

For Bursa Yıldırımspor, this is a textbook away-day victory: resilient, organised and ruthlessly efficient. Three points and a clean sheet on the road are the foundation of any promotion challenge in the Turkish Third League. For Alanya Kestelspor, the frustration is that they controlled long spells without ever truly threatening — a recurring theme that the coaching staff must address if the club is to turn possession into points in the coming weeks.
