Tactical Story

Karacabey Belediyespor’s 4-4-2 was built on energy and quick transitions. Ozan Demir and Barış Şen worked hard as a front two, while the wide midfielders tucked in to deny Hekimoğlu Trabzon space in central areas. For much of the first hour, the plan worked well, and Karacabey looked the more likely side to score a third goal.

Hekimoğlu Trabzon’s manager changed the game with a double substitution in the 73rd minute, adding width and height to the attack. The visitors began loading the box with crosses, and Karacabey’s defence, which had been solid for long spells, finally cracked under the pressure. The equaliser was no accident: Hekimoğlu had been building toward it for the final 15 minutes.

Standout Players

Ozan Demir was the standout for Karacabey Belediyespor, scoring one goal and causing problems throughout with his pressing and link-up play. He now has five league goals for the season. Barış Şen also impressed with his movement and finishing, while goalkeeper Yusuf Aydın made several important saves.

For Hekimoğlu Trabzon, Serkan Kılıç dictated the tempo from midfield and was central to his team’s comeback. Furkan Yaman took his goal well, and substitute Ahmet Karadeniz made a decisive impact with the late header. It was a performance that highlighted the squad depth Hekimoğlu possess in the Turkish Second League.

Season Impact and Standings Context

The draw keeps Karacabey Belediyespor in the playoff conversation, though they will feel two points slipped away at home. Hekimoğlu Trabzon, meanwhile, maintain their position in the upper half of the table and extend their unbeaten run in away fixtures. In a division where automatic promotion and playoff spots are fiercely contested, both sides know every point matters.

Karacabey will look to tighten up defensively in the closing stages of future matches, while Hekimoğlu Trabzon can take confidence from their resilience. The head-to-head between these two teams is now finely balanced, and a return fixture later in the season could have significant bearing on the final standings.
