Tactical Story

Adana 01 FK’s first-half performance was built on high pressing and quick vertical passes. They won the ball back in dangerous areas and attacked with numbers, which overwhelmed Yeni Orduspor early on. However, the home side’s intensity dropped after the break, and Orduspor took full advantage by pushing their full-backs higher and overloading the wide areas.

Orduspor’s comeback was powered by their midfield runners, who found space between the lines as Adana 01 FK sat deeper. The equaliser felt inevitable at that point, but Adana 01 FK showed character to steady themselves in the final ten minutes. The winning goal came from a return to their first-half principles: a wide overlap, an early cross, and a late run into the box from Yıldız.

Standout Players

Baran Yıldız will take the headlines for his late winner, but Mert Kaya and Emre Şahin were equally important for Adana 01 FK, setting the tone with early goals and constant movement. For Yeni Orduspor, Onur Çelik and Kaan Arslan drove the comeback and proved why the visitors are a dangerous attacking side. Both goalkeepers were busy throughout, with Adana’s keeper making a crucial save at 2-2 to keep the score level before the winner.

Table and Season Impact

This victory gives Adana 01 FK a major boost in the TFF 2. Lig standings and reinforces their reputation as a team capable of scoring from multiple positions. For Yeni Orduspor, the defeat is a painful one after such a strong second-half display, but the performance showed plenty of fight. In the race for promotion and playoff places, dropping points from a 2-2 position will hurt, while Adana 01 FK will take huge belief from finding a late winner.

What’s Next

Adana 01 FK will look to carry this momentum into their next Turkish Second League fixture, while Yeni Orduspor must recover quickly from a demoralising loss. The TFF 2. Lig table remains tight, and both clubs know that consistency in the coming weeks will be essential.
