Belediye Vanspor delivered a dominant away performance to beat Boluspor 3-0 in the Turkish First League on October 24, 2026. The visitors controlled the key moments, scored at important intervals, and secured a result that strengthens their promotion credentials.

Match overview

Vanspor started with purpose and took the lead in the 12th minute after winning the ball high and attacking quickly. Boluspor tried to respond through possession, but they struggled to break down a well-organised away defence. The second goal early in the second half effectively ended the contest.

A third goal in the 73rd minute completed a convincing win. Boluspor had spells with the ball, but they lacked the final pass and were repeatedly exposed on the counter-attack.

Key moments

• 12th minute: Belediye Vanspor take the lead with a sharp finish after a high turnover.
• 49th minute: Vanspor double their advantage early in the second half from a well-worked attacking move.
• 73rd minute: A clinical counter-attack makes it 3-0 and puts the result beyond doubt.
• Late stages: Boluspor push for a consolation goal, but Vanspor’s defence holds firm.

Tactical story

Vanspor’s game plan was built on compact defending and fast transitions. They allowed Boluspor possession in less dangerous areas, then attacked the space behind the home side’s advanced full-backs. The away midfield worked hard to close central lanes, making it difficult for Boluspor to create clear chances.

Boluspor’s build-up was too slow at times, and their crosses into the box were well defended. Once Vanspor scored the second goal, the home side’s shape became more open, which played directly into the visitors’ counter-attacking strengths.

Standout players

Vanspor’s centre-forward was the standout performer, scoring twice and leading the line with intelligent movement. The away goalkeeper also deserves credit for a clean sheet and a key first-half save, while Boluspor’s central midfielder tried to drive his team forward but received limited support.

Season impact

The three points are a major boost for Belediye Vanspor in the Turkish First League table and underline their ability to win away from home. For Boluspor, the heavy defeat raises questions about their defensive structure and their ability to respond when trailing.
