The home side controlled the match from the opening whistle and secured a deserved three points with goals in each phase of the game.

The 3-0 scoreline reflects Antalyaspor’s dominance in possession, territory, and chance creation. Belediye Vanspor worked hard but struggled to contain the hosts’ movement in the final third, particularly after falling behind early.

Match overview

Antalyaspor started on the front foot, pressing high and forcing Belediye Vanspor into hurried clearances. The breakthrough arrived in the 18th minute when Berkay Yıldız latched onto a through ball and slotted past the goalkeeper. From that point, Antalyaspor dictated the rhythm, with their midfield trio rotating the ball quickly and full-backs pushing high to stretch the visitors’ defensive block.

Belediye Vanspor’s best spell came early in the second half, but Antalyaspor’s goalkeeper Ataberk Dadakdeniz was alert to keep the clean sheet intact. The hosts doubled their lead in the 52nd minute through a well-worked team move, and a late third goal in the 78th minute put the result beyond doubt.

Tactical story

Antalyaspor lined up in a 4-2-3-1 that became a 3-2-5 in possession, with the full-backs advancing to pin Belediye Vanspor deep. The visitors tried to defend in a compact 4-4-2, but they struggled to close the gaps between midfield and defence. Antalyaspor’s quick ball circulation created repeated overloads on the wings, and their 15 shots on goal underlined their control.

Belediye Vanspor’s defensive resilience held for periods, but once Antalyaspor scored the second, the game became one-way traffic. The away side managed only four attempts on target and rarely threatened a comeback.

Standout players

Berkay Yıldız was the standout performer, opening the scoring and constantly troubling the Belediye Vanspor centre-backs with his movement. Adem Metin controlled midfield with sharp passing and arrived late in the box for the second goal. Ataberk Dadakdeniz may not have been overworked, but his saves during Vanspor’s brief second-half spell preserved a valuable clean sheet.

This Antalyaspor 3-0 Belediye Vanspor result strengthens Antalyaspor’s position in the Turkish First League standings and sends a clear message about their promotion credentials.
