Bouchamma 0-0 CS Korba — Bouchamma and CS Korba played out a hard-fought, goalless stalemate in the Tunisian Professional League 2, a match decided as much by grit and discipline as by any moment of attacking inspiration.

Match overview

The 22:30 kick-off produced a classic Ligue 2 midfield battle: two well-organised teams, plenty of commitment, and very little space in the final third. Bouchamma set up to press high and unsettle Korba's rhythm, while the visitors from the Cap Bon region were happy to defend in numbers and look for set-piece opportunities.

Chances were at a premium throughout, and the two goalkeepers finished the evening with relatively clean sheets earned through alert positioning rather than spectacular acrobatics.

Key moments

• 18th minute: Bouchamma's best move of the first half ended with a shot dragged wide from the angle of the penalty area.
• 37th minute: CS Korba's first genuine sight of goal, a header from a corner that looped narrowly over.
• 63rd minute: The woodwork came to Korba's rescue, a crisp Bouchamma strike from 20 yards clipping the outside of the post.
• 70th minute: Two yellow cards in quick succession as the midfield contest turned scrappy.
• 88th minute: A last-ditch block denied the hosts a late winner inside a crowded penalty box.

Tactical story

Bouchamma's approach was direct and vertical — win the ball high, play forward quickly. It worked in terms of territory, but their final pass was repeatedly intercepted by a Korba defence that defended its box with real organisation. Korba, meanwhile, used their width to stretch the pitch on the counter but lacked the numbers in the box to convert promising positions into shots.

The second half became increasingly physical, with both benches making changes to try to inject pace. Neither substitution altered the fundamental balance of the contest.

Standout performers

Bouchamma's captain led by example in the centre of the park, breaking up play and driving his team forward. Korba's goalkeeper was composed under a series of crosses and set pieces, while their left-back produced the defensive moment of the match with a perfectly timed sliding challenge in the closing stages.

Season impact

The point leaves both clubs level on goal difference in the early Tunisian Professional League 2 standings, part of a tight cluster of sides separated by a single result. For Bouchamma, the frustration is that dominance without a goal yields nothing extra; for CS Korba, an away clean sheet is a valuable commodity in a division where away form so often decides promotion races.
