Match Overview

The game kicked off at 16:30 local time in front of a lively home crowd, with Suranaree Black Cat looking to assert their authority early. Suranaree dominated possession but struggled to break down a resilient Yasothon backline, while the visitors posed a threat through quick transitions. The breakthrough finally arrived in the 67th minute, and it came from a well-rehearsed set piece. The Black Cats' persistence paid off, and they managed the game expertly in the closing stages to secure a hard-fought clean sheet.

Tactical Analysis

Suranaree Black Cat set up in a fluid 4-3-3, with their full-backs pushing high to stretch the Yasothon defence. The hosts focused their attacks down the right flank, repeatedly overloading the opposition left-back. This approach created numerous crossing opportunities, and it was from one such delivery that the winning goal originated. Yasothon FC, meanwhile, deployed a compact 4-4-2, looking to absorb pressure and launch direct counter-attacks. For much of the match, their disciplined defensive block frustrated the Black Cats, but they struggled to maintain possession in the final third. The introduction of fresh legs from the bench for Suranaree in the 60th minute proved decisive, as it added extra energy in the attacking third and led directly to the corner from which they scored.

Standout Players

Nattapong Srisuwan was the hero for Suranaree Black Cat, not only for his match-winning header but also for his relentless work rate in midfield. He completed the most passes in the attacking half and was a constant nuisance for the Yasothon defenders. At the back, centre-back Kittiphong Thongchai delivered a commanding performance, winning every aerial duel and making several crucial interceptions. For Yasothon FC, goalkeeper Phakpoom Inthara kept his side in the contest with a string of fine saves, while captain Anucha Wongchai led by example with a tireless display in midfield. Despite the loss, Yasothon's defensive organisation showed why they are a tough opponent on the road.

Thai League 3 Table Impact

The three points lift Suranaree Black Cat into a more comfortable position in the Thai League 3 standings, strengthening their push for a top-half finish. For Yasothon FC, the defeat leaves them searching for consistency as they continue their campaign. This result also extends Suranaree's unbeaten run at home, a record they will be keen to protect in the coming weeks. In the broader context of the league, the win keeps the Black Cats within touching distance of the playoff places, while Yasothon will need to bounce back quickly to avoid slipping further down the table.
