Match Overview

With a 16:30 kick-off, Pitchayabundit College wasted little time in establishing authority. They pressed high, moved the ball quickly, and created chances through both central combinations and wide overlaps. Khonkaen Mordindang FC struggled to keep possession and were repeatedly forced into defensive mistakes.

By half-time the hosts were two goals ahead, and the second half followed a similar pattern. Pitchayabundit added two more goals, managed the game intelligently, and kept a clean sheet to complete a thoroughly professional victory.

Tactical Story

Pitchayabundit College set up with a high defensive line and an aggressive pressing structure, which suffocated Khonkaen Mordindang FC’s attempts to play out from the back. Their midfielders won most of the second balls, allowing the team to sustain attacks and pin Khonkaen deep in their own half.

Khonkaen Mordindang FC tried to defend in a compact block, but they were undone by quick switches of play and poor marking at set pieces. When they did win the ball, their counter-attacks lacked support, and the front players were often isolated against a well-organised back line.

Standout Players

Thanawat Sriwichai led the line impressively for Pitchayabundit College, scoring the opener and linking play intelligently. The left winger was a constant threat with his dribbling and crossing, while the central midfield duo controlled the tempo and broke up Khonkaen’s rare attacks.

For Khonkaen Mordindang FC, the goalkeeper deserve credit for several saves that kept the score from becoming even more one-sided. The defence, however, will need to review the goals conceded, especially the set-piece marking and the space allowed outside the box.

What the Result Means

The three points lift Pitchayabundit College up the Thai League 3 table and boost their confidence ahead of a busy run of fixtures. The clean sheet will be especially pleasing for the coaching staff, as it shows the team can combine attacking flair with defensive solidity.

For Khonkaen Mordindang FC, the defeat is a heavy blow and leaves them needing to address both their defensive organisation and their ability to keep the ball under pressure. They will need a much improved performance in their next match to avoid slipping further down the standings.
