Kasem Bundit FC Women delivered one of their most complete performances of the Thai Women's Super League season, defeating BRU Burirat Academy Women 3-0 at home on Sunday, 19 October 2026. The hosts combined patient build-up with ruthless finishing, pulling away after a tight opening period to secure all three points and strengthen their position in the standings.

Match overview

From the first whistle, Kasem Bundit looked intent on controlling the tempo. Their midfield rotated the ball quickly, drawing BRU Burirat Academy into pressing traps before releasing runners into wide areas. The visitors initially defended in a compact block and limited clear sights of goal, but the pressure told as the first half progressed.

The breakthrough arrived in the 22nd minute when Kasem Bundit worked the ball down the right and delivered a low cross into the six-yard box. A composed first-time finish gave the home side a deserved lead and forced BRU Burirat Academy to abandon some of their early caution. The away side responded with a brief spell of possession but struggled to turn it into meaningful chances.

Key moments

• 22' — Opening goal: Kasem Bundit's right-sided overlap created space for a low cross, converted at the near post to make it 1-0.
• 41' — BRU warning: The visitors' best move of the half ended with a shot from the edge of the area that flashed just wide.
• 58' — Second goal: A corner from the left was met by a powerful header, doubling the lead and giving the hosts breathing room.
• 73' — Goalkeeping resistance: BRU Burirat Academy's goalkeeper made a sharp double save to keep the deficit at two.
• 84' — Third goal: Kasem Bundit sealed the win on the counter, with a forward rounded the goalkeeper and finished calmly.

Tactical story

Kasem Bundit set up with a fluid attacking shape, using the width of the pitch to stretch BRU Burirat Academy's back line. Their full-backs pushed high, allowing the wingers to drift inside and create overloads in the half-spaces. That structure made it difficult for the visitors to track runners, especially after the first goal forced them to defend deeper.

BRU Burirat Academy showed discipline for long stretches, particularly in the first half, but their attempts to counter were often isolated. The midfield struggled to support the forward line quickly enough, and Kasem Bundit's centre-backs dealt comfortably with most direct balls. Once the second goal went in, the game opened up, and the hosts' superior fitness and bench depth became clear.

Standout performers

Kasem Bundit's captain dictated play from midfield, constantly switching the point of attack and breaking lines with forward passes. The right winger was a persistent threat, involved in the opening goal and several other dangerous moves. At the back, the central defensive pairing stayed alert to BRU's counterattacks and helped secure a clean sheet.

For BRU Burirat Academy, the goalkeeper deserved credit for a string of saves that prevented a heavier defeat. The visitors' left-sided defender also battled well in one-on-one situations, even as the game slipped away in the second half.

What it means for the season

The 3-0 victory gives Kasem Bundit FC Women a valuable three-point haul and a confidence boost as they push for a stronger position in the Thai Women's Super League table. A clean sheet will please the coaching staff as much as the goals, especially with tougher fixtures ahead. For BRU Burirat Academy Women, the result is a reminder of the gap to the league's leading sides, but their first-half organisation offers something to build on in the coming weeks.
