Club Overview

CSD Los Perales wears red and white and represents a proud sporting tradition in its local area. The club was founded in 1975 and has spent much of its history in Guatemala's amateur and semi-professional leagues, providing a platform for players from the community to compete at a meaningful level.

While Los Perales may not have the national profile of Guatemala's biggest clubs, it is exactly the kind of institution that keeps football alive across the country. Its teams train regularly, compete in local tournaments, and give young players a clear pathway from youth football to senior competition.

Home Ground and Matchday Atmosphere

CSD Los Perales plays its home fixtures at a compact community stadium in the Los Perales sector. The ground is intimate, with supporters close to the pitch, and the atmosphere can be intense when local rivals visit. Matchdays are community events, with families and former players often turning out to support the team.

The club's colors are worn with pride, and the badge is a symbol of local identity. For many residents, supporting Los Perales is a way of backing their neighborhood as much as their football team.

Competition and Playing Style

CSD Los Perales competes in Guatemalan lower-division and regional competitions, including the Tercera División and local league tournaments. The team is known for being organized and resilient, with a style that blends hard work in midfield with quick breaks forward.

• Regional leagues: A tough calendar of local derbies and long-standing rivalries.
• National cup competitions: Chances to measure the club against teams from other departments.
• Youth tournaments: A key part of the club's development model.

Youth Development and Community Role

Los Perales places a strong emphasis on youth football. The club runs teams at multiple age levels, giving children from the area a safe and structured environment to learn the game. Coaches focus on technical skills, discipline, and respect, and the most promising players can progress to the senior squad.

The club also plays a social role, offering opportunities for young people to stay active and connected. In a country where football is a central part of national life, clubs like CSD Los Perales help turn passion into purpose.

Ambitions and Rivalries

The club's ambition is to remain competitive in its league, develop more homegrown players, and eventually push for promotion into a higher division. Local derbies are the highlights of the season, and they bring out the best in the squad and supporters. With its strong community base, CSD Los Perales has the foundation to keep growing.
