Brann break the resistance

Brann began the tie as overwhelming favourites, and they dominated possession from the first whistle. That goal made for an interesting contest, and Brann had to show a little more patience in possession to regain control.

Brann eventually sealed the match with a third goal, the result of a sharp counter-attack that swept from their own half to the Aalesund net in just a few passes. Despite late pressure from the visitors, the home side stood firm to secure their place in the next round of the Norwegian Women's Cup.
