Bulle and FC Paradiso played out a 2-2 draw in the Switzerland Division 1 League on 10 October 2026, with the visitors scoring a late equaliser at the Stade de Bouleyres. Bulle had controlled much of the first hour and led 2-0, but Paradiso's second-half response earned them a deserved point in a match that swung dramatically after the interval.

Bulle's first-half control

The home side began with purpose and took the lead in the 12th minute. A well-delivered corner from the right was met by a towering header at the near post, giving the Bulle captain the opening goal. Paradiso struggled to settle in the early stages, and Bulle doubled their advantage in the 33rd minute with a swift counter-attack. A turnover in midfield allowed the Bulle forward to race clear and finish calmly past the goalkeeper.

At that point, the match looked comfortable for the hosts. Bulle were winning the majority of duels, pressing effectively and forcing Paradiso into rushed passes. The visitors managed just one meaningful shot on target in the first half and went into the break with a mountain to climb.

Paradiso's second-half comeback

The game changed shortly after the hour mark. Paradiso introduced fresh legs in midfield and began to dominate possession, pushing Bulle deeper. In the 58th minute, a clever run from the substitute forward was picked out by a defence-splitting pass, and the finish was precise to make it 2-1.

Bulle tried to steady the ship, but Paradiso kept probing. The equaliser arrived in the 88th minute when a free-kick from the edge of the area was curled over the wall and into the top corner. The Bulle goalkeeper got a hand to it but could not keep it out, and the visitors celebrated a hard-fought point.

Key moments

• 12' — Bulle take the lead through a powerful header from a corner.
• 33' — A quick counter-attack makes it 2-0 to the home side.
• 58' — FC Paradiso pull one back through their substitute forward.
• 88' — A superb free-kick earns Paradiso a late 2-2 draw.

Tactical story

Bulle's game plan was built on physicality, set pieces and fast transitions. For an hour it worked perfectly. However, they dropped too deep after taking a two-goal lead, allowing Paradiso to control the tempo. The visitors switched to a more aggressive midfield shape and used their width to stretch the Bulle defence. That tactical adjustment, combined with fresh attacking options from the bench, turned the contest around.

Standout players

Bulle's captain led by example in the first half, winning everything in the air and scoring the opener. For Paradiso, the substitute who scored the first goal and the free-kick specialist who equalised were the difference-makers. The Paradiso goalkeeper also made a crucial save at 2-1 to keep his side within touching distance before the late drama.

What it means for the Switzerland Division 1 League table

The draw leaves both teams with mixed feelings. Bulle will see it as two points dropped after leading 2-0 at home, while FC Paradiso will take confidence from a resilient away performance. In the Switzerland Division 1 League standings, the result keeps both sides in the thick of a competitive mid-table battle, with plenty of matches still to shape the season.
