• Goalkeeping interventions: Both goalkeepers made important saves in the second half, keeping the score level.
• Late chances: Each team had a late opportunity to snatch all three points, but neither could find the winning goal.

Their midfield worked hard to recycle possession, but they struggled to break down Elfsborg’s compact defensive block after the equaliser. Elfsborg Women, meanwhile, grew into the game by winning more duels in the middle third. Their pressing forced turnovers and allowed them to launch quick counter-attacks. The draw highlighted the strengths of both teams: Goteborg’s attacking shape and Elfsborg’s resilience and ability to adapt mid-match.

Standout players

For Goteborg Women, the creative midfielder was central to most of their best moves, linking play and finding pockets of space. The left-sided attacker was also a constant threat and was involved in the opening goal. Elfsborg Women’s goalkeeper produced a strong performance, while their central defenders dealt with crosses and through balls effectively. In midfield, Elfsborg’s captain drove the comeback with energy and intelligent positioning, helping her side secure a valuable away point in the Sweden Elitettan.
