Motala AIF FK secured a dominant 2–0 win over Vänersborgs IF at Idrottsparken on Sunday evening, moving them up the Division 2 standings. The home side controlled proceedings from start to finish, leaving Vänersborgs with few answers.

Motala took the lead inside the opening ten minutes after a flowing move ended with winger Johan Lindström slotting home from a tight angle.
