FC Nacka Iliria overturned a half-time deficit to beat Syrianska FC 4-2 in an entertaining Sweden Division 2 clash on 18 October 2026. Trailing 2-1 at the break, Nacka produced a dominant second-half display, scoring three unanswered goals to secure a memorable home victory.

The match was a tale of two halves. Syrianska FC were sharp and efficient in the opening period, taking the lead and then restoring their advantage after Nacka had equalised. But Nacka’s response after the interval was emphatic: they pressed higher, moved the ball quicker and created a steady stream of chances.

Match overview

Syrianska started well and took the lead in the 12th minute through Gabriel Aslan, who found space on the edge of the box and finished with precision. Nacka responded positively and equalised on 31 minutes when Ardit Berisha cut inside from the left and curled a shot into the far corner.

Just before half-time, Syrianska regained the lead. Mikael Özkan was quickest to react to a loose ball inside the area and stabbed it home to make it 2-1. That goal gave the visitors a narrow cushion at the break, but it also underlined Nacka’s vulnerability to quick transitions.

Nacka came out for the second half with a different intensity. They equalised in the 56th minute when Berisha scored his second of the match, finishing a well-worked move down the right. The home side took the lead for the first time on 68 minutes, Dino Salihovic converting from close range after a corner was only half-cleared. Substitute Leon Krasniqi sealed the win in the 84th minute with a composed finish on the break.

Tactical story

Nacka’s first-half performance was mixed. They created chances but were exposed defensively when Syrianska broke quickly. The half-time adjustment was key: Nacka pushed their defensive line higher, pressed Syrianska’s midfielders more aggressively and forced turnovers in dangerous areas.

That change allowed Nacka to sustain pressure and prevented Syrianska from finding the easy counter-attacks that had troubled them before the break. Nacka’s wide players also stayed higher, stretching the away side’s defence and creating space for Berisha and Salihovic to operate between the lines. The third goal, from a corner, reflected Nacka’s improved control of the game.

Standout performers

Ardit Berisha was the standout player for FC Nacka Iliria, scoring twice and driving the comeback with his movement and finishing. Dino Salihovic’s goal and all-round midfield display were also important, while substitute Leon Krasniqi made an immediate impact with the fourth goal. For Syrianska FC, Gabriel Aslan and Mikael Özkan took their goals well, but the visitors could not withstand Nacka’s second-half surge.

Table impact and what’s next

The win gives FC Nacka Iliria a valuable boost in the Sweden Division 2 standings and reinforces their attacking potential. Syrianska FC will be frustrated to have led at half-time and lost, especially after a promising opening period. Both teams now look ahead to their next fixtures, with Nacka aiming to build on a strong second-half performance and Syrianska determined to respond after a disappointing collapse.
